A bird’s-eye view of Topeka, Kansas, was sent to Miss Daphne Lidell at Clyde. Its handwritten note begins June 21, thanks her for a postcard, and asks about a recent social. The last sentence changes from ordinary writing to 26 dot-separated numbers in ten groups.
The cancellation supports 1907 but partly hides the day. The portal’s 2 June date conflicts with the written 21 June and is not used here as a resolved posting date. The whole written message is below; longer dashes mark the source’s larger group gaps. What do the numbers say?
Handwritten source rendering; line breaks and uncertainty retained
