A postcard sent from Felton, California, on 23 September 1913 is addressed to Miss Edith Elsworth, Box 712, Burlingame. The picture is labeled GRAND CENTRAL HOTEL / Part of Felton, California / 2381. The ordinary message points out features of the view, but twelve passages are written as geometric signs.
The rendering below retains all twelve sign blocks within the full open-prose frame. A centered dot denotes a small attached mark; square brackets describe obscured ink. Portions of the ordinary handwriting are pale or overwritten, and the edge continuation remains incomplete. What belongs in each marked passage?
Handwritten source rendering; line breaks and uncertainty retained
