An undated Valentine is addressed to Miss Grace Janson at Bison, Kansas. The commercial picture asks WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?; the writing side is filled with sixteen rows of numbers separated by hyphens and larger gaps. No stamp or cancellation survives to date or route it.
There are 85 positions in the main numeric field. Ink has destroyed the first value while leaving its position clear. A separate nonnumeric band is obliterated, and a faint pencil note may read [Do not write back.]. The transcription retains those physical limits. What do the remaining numbers say?
Handwritten source rendering; line breaks and uncertainty retained
